Another special issue of the ACHR newsletter has just come out and can be downloaded from the link below.  This one is devoted entirely to the Covid crisis, which has gripped most of the world for more than two years now, and has heaped troubles of all sorts upon Asia's urban poor communities.  In this newsletter, we look at how organized community groups and their supporters in five Asian countries have responded to the crisis in fresh, creative and resourceful ways.  Some of the initiatives described in these pages were brought into a regional "action research" study, which gave the implementing community groups a chance to present their work to each other and learn from each other's struggles.  The study was facilitated by ACHR, in collaboration with the International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED) in London.
