CAN Workshop in Yangon, Myanmar - Nov 2019
This is the report from the regional CAN workshop that was held in Yangon, Myanmar, in November 2019. The workshop, which focused on developing a set of strategic planning guidelines for developing community-led housing in Yangon's South Dagon Township, was jointly organized by CAN and by the Yangon-based NGO Women for the World, with good support from the city-level and township-level local authorities, the local network of women's savings groups and other local professionals.

Reflections on the CAN Workshop in Jhenaidah Bangladesh - June 2019
A regional Community Architects Network (CAN) workshop was held in the city of Jhenaidah, in Bangladesh, in June 2019. In this document, Suhailey and Kabir, from the Co-Creation Architects (who hosted the workshop), and Ploy (a community architect from Bangkok and one of the regional CAN coordinators) reflect on what it means to be architects who are trying to create things with community people, in new ways. They call this "co-creation", and they work with communities and citizens to co-create houses, co-create settlement plans and co-create cities.
